A Study on Housing Images of Apartment Dwellers in Seoul |
| Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to examine the housing images of apartment dwellers in the city of Seoul and to identify the relationship with the residents' characteritics. Selected variables were the size of apartment, family income, family life span, and age of homemakers. Documentary research and questionnaire survey methods were used in this study. Four hundred and twenty questionnaries were administered by the size of apartment between 26 and 65pyong, and 307 questionnaires were analyzed. Statistics were factor analysis, mean, MANOYA, and F-test. It was found that the ideal images of housing that subject group regarded as most important were those related with comfort, modernity, spaciousness and simplicity. |
