A Study on the Desalinization of Sea-sand by the Hybrid Mechanized Washing Device |
| Abstract |
This paper is to present the desalinizing data of the hybrid mechanized washing device which is composed of screw conveyor, screen conveyor and sprinkler. After desalinization of sea-sand, this device showed the range of 0.006-0.014% of chloride content in sea-sand comparing with the range of 0.168--.175% of threshold chloride content. It was the bese case of desalinizing efficiency to supply the water of 1:0.5(sea-sand:water) to the screw and 1:2 to the sprinkler, wherein the movement of screen was surveyed with R.P.M 600. This device showed the advantage of desalinizing capability per hour than the sprinkler alone and the better desalinizing efficiency than the screw conveyor alone. |
