Evaluation of the Characteristics of the Indoor Air Environment in Office Buildings |
| Abstract |
The volume of out-air required to maintain comfortable indoor air environment is not supplied sufficiently indoors, because the volume of out-air is minimized for the energy saving. As the importance of indoor air environment is realized, research and investigation for this is under execution in Europe, America and Japan. So the importance of Indoor Air Quality is newly recognized in the country since 1980's. In this study, the measurement and questionnaire survey of indoor air environment were performed at heating and cooling period in several office buildings located in Seoul and Tokyo to investigate the characteristics of indoor air environment and the relation of indoor air contamination level and the response level. As the result, profiles of CO2 and CO gas, air-borne dust concentration and other elements at heating and cooling period are analyzed. And the uncomfortable and odour level of occupants and pannel according to the air contammination level is also analyzed and compared. |
