Study on Additional Strength Theory |
| Abstract |
Additional Strength Theory which is consisting of plastic strength is based on the assumption of full elastic plastic of material. This theory has been verified under the plasticity theory that the load carring capacity of a composite structure composed of two or more components with different load carring capacity is not smaller than the sum total of the load carring capacity of the individual components. In this case, the problems lie in definition of "Addition".But the purpose of this paper is to investigate additional strength theory by plasticity theory based upon a concept of yielding surface and reference<1>,and <2> through geometrical analysis. |
