| Abstract |
Architectural design aims at the formation of human space through the composition of spatial and decorative elements, in a symbolic system arising from the mental responses to space and decoration.Through analyses of documantaries and enquete for recognitive status of people about interior spaces, focusing on the correlation between space and human condition, the followings are the conclusions. 1)From the viewpoint of human and spatial condition, all the design elements need to be expressed in a simple and weak way as the dominant user's age become elder, and need to be expressed in a small, soft and delicate way as the space grows to be a private one.2)From the viewpoint of symbolic system, detail and decorative elements become more important as the space becomes more private one. |
