| Abstract |
This study intended to study on the direction to the change for development through the meaning of technology and its methods for expression, which does an important role as a physical and methodic element of architectural form.This study recognized that the use of technology has somewhat not been an essential response as architecture, and that the need for common idelogies and their methods for newness in its formal expression.The meaning of technology as an element of architectural from according to its essential characteristics is; technology is a ready-made tool for modern languages in the design process and it leads the change and development of form.It seems that the visualization of scientific rationalism, the visualization of periodic image and the trial for historical continuity would be the eternal ideologies for architecture.And the expression of engineering systems, functional identity, industrial image, machinary image, geometrical tradition and modernized application of vernacularism would be suggested as a methodic principles for an architectural order with organic and sensual characteristics. |
