Title Changes in Land Use Caused by Large Scale Land Development Project

Abstract This study aims to find the characteristics and trends in urban spatial structure by using the analysis of the process and phenomena of the land use transition in large scale land development project. Then the land use transition of Mang-mi Districts in Pusan was analyzed from an ecological viewpoint. The results of analysis are as follows;1.The residential function is usually dominant the inner block remote from the arterial road in the early stage of the space formation in the typical residential site.2.The construction tendency of the neighborhood facilities and the dwellings which are affected by accessablity, appears near arterial road and branch road, respectively.3.Though the construction activity is very active adjacent the site for 2 years after the large scale apartment was built, the uses of existing buildings have no distinct change in use.4.The land use change in the existing buildings are so active for 3-5years after the large scale apartment construction is completed.
