Effect of filler on Strength Properties of Unsaturated Polyester Resin Mortar |
| Abstract |
The content of resin and fillers of resin concrete should be optimized viewpoints of processability and performance of various resin concrete. Mechanical properties of resin mortar in which calcium carbonate and fly-ash were incorporated as fillers were studied.It was found that the fillers at as extender and viscosity controlling agent. The mechanical strength of resin mortar showed maximum depending on filler content.It seems that fly-ash in more efficient than calcium carbonate as filler of resin mortar. |
