Abstract |
It is difficult to predict construction progress accurately, since there are various kinds of uncertain factors in building construction. To establish proper scheduling method, authors examined the applicability of computer simulation technique for planning on reinforced concrete building project. Based on the results of field observation on the work process and man-hour usage in actual project, a SLAM(Simulation Language for Alternative Modeling) model was built for computer simulation. The relations between crew size and work performance were analyzed using this model. The applicability of this computer simulation technique for construction scheduling was clarified through the research. |
