A Field Study on Developing of Hill Housing Types |
| Abstract |
Since the rapid urbanization in 1960, the hill side of city has begun to appear as results of many undesirable phenomena, such as the damaged city-scape, the malfuntional and abnormal development. And then hill housing have many problemsboth in facilities and in environment. The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction for the rational efficient development on hill housingThe results of the study can be summarized as follows:1. Block types of hill housing of Pusan are classified into 1)stepped 2)over-stepped 3)flat 4)double-row 5)complex.2. The block type should be adopted after sufficient analysis of the relationships people'life style between the areas to be developed.3. Hill housing development should be made on a step-by-step basis, in accordance with the development plan of Pusan city.It is desirable to establish model housing project, at first, and then to do state-funded or private-financed development. |
