| Abstract |
This study is to investigate the methods of users' participation in designing for improving users' satisfication with their housing. The method of this study is to use simulation study through models to investigate positively the attitudes and characteristics of users depending on the methods of participation. The importhat results of this study are as follows:1) The design kit developed for participatory design proves to be the instrument which enables nonexperts to approach the design of unit plan easily. 2)They show strong creativity, responisbility and achievement which put effects on the promotion of satisfaction for housing. 3)The results of the design can be arranged as the figure, and various plan types suitable for testees' needs are produced. This shows the possibility of the additional effect of participatory design as it henceforth can be used as a feedback for alterative. |
