Abstract |
This study investigates the concept of centrality as expounded in Far Eastern thoughts and interprets how this concept is manifest in the main yard of the traditional Korean house with particular reference to the role of the yard as the place in which the Feng-Shui compass should be located.The yard is manifest as centry of a microcosm, getting involved in the creation of macrocosm and the interrelation of miriad forms and thus can claim its properity as the place where the compass should be located. |
