A Study on the Aspects of Residents Evaluation in High-Rise Apartment Estates |
Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of the resident evaluation of the residential environment about the high-rise apartments and the housing mobility.The questionnaires were answered from 178 dwellers reside from the 2nd to 14th floor or high-rise apartments located in four different estates, and those were analyzed using the theory of QUANTIFICATION 2, results are in the followings;1. A high portion of the dwellers feel uncomfortable to the elevators and the occurrence of the disasters or accidents in high-rise environments, and agree that the high-rise environment is not suitable for the children and the old age. These results are similar to those reported from the previous researches about the high and super high-rise apartment.2. The result of quantifiction analysis shows that the 23 factors variously influences the outside variables, such as age, family type, moving intention, and the floor.3. The unsatisfaction of the dwellers with the visual and spatial cognition factors which is influenced by the floor and the position is highly related to the moving intention of the dwellers.4. The study of housing mobility for the last ten years reveals that dwellers move in every three years. Furthermore, about 80% of dwellers has the moving intention for their present apartments. |
