Abstract |
Underlying theories and logical premises of existing procedural theories of architectural design need to be reestablished for the advancement of the field in the upcoming years. In order to provide a foundation argument for developing theories of professional design activities and process of architecture, this research aims to provide definition and logical description of procedural theories of design, current state and prospect of research in the field, utility of resulting theories, method and resources for procedural research, general models, and the value of localizing efforts. |
