| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to suggest the Space Syntax Model as a methodology for the estimation of site planning alternatives in multi-family housing estates. In order to analyze alternatives of Hwagog housing estates, this paper attempted to: (1) represent the structure as a axial map and convex map; (2) analyze the spatial configuration in terms of Space Syntax model; and finally (3) synthesize estimations and select the best alternative. So site planners can use the Space Syntax Model as an estimation methodology of site planning in multi-family housing estates. |
