The integrated building model provides the core basis for design integration by relating different application programs in different disciplines through integrated building databases. In this paper, under the goal of enhancing the capabilities of the current CAD systems, an approach based on the product modeling techniques and abstraction mechanism is discussed. Some related concepts and techniques are also presented. |
