| Abstract |
This study was initiated with an new idea of color that the modern painters presented, i.e., color with incorporation of its spatial and structural value could be developed as construction object. The purpose of this study is to establish the concept of "color construction" by comparing new spatial concept of modern architecture with that of modern painting. The study will analyse plastic technique by which a space is constructed in a plane, focusing on Malevich's and El Lissitzky's . and are pictures, but are rather constructed under the architectonic principles, not under the pictorial principles.In this sense, their works were in the process of expanding their artistic horizon "from plane to space"-"from painting to architecture". |
