Abstract This Paper is first of the serial studies on the architectural plan of museum by service marketing system.Korean museum notice a continuous change quantitavely for coping with rapid change of social environment.But its architectural level of function and program is exposed insufficiency for doing of public service facility qualitatively.This paper's final aims at studing on a development of method in communication with museum and people by the theory based on servicemarketing which is useful to architectural planning.For its basic study, this paper set up 28 P.S.I.(public service index) that recognized by visitors when they vis-it museum. through theseprocess, museum can be embodied its social role and verified architecturalguide.
