Abstract Architectural drawings in Chosun Dynasty must be interpreted drawing of architecture rather than painting. for it is have a great significance in the formation of Korean architectural design.From this point of view, this study examined the advancement of the architectural pictures in korea, and the formal character of the architectural drawings through the analysis of the 'Young-Gun-Eui-Gue', "San-Lung-Eui-Gue' in Chosun Dynasty.The major results can be summarized a follows: First, the basiccharacters of them are the records concerned with building construction, the normative of YEA-code, and the documentary feature of painting . Second, the compositional types can be classified into the site layout, the plan, the exterior, the interior, the detail, etc. Third, the basic view method appear to be front elevation, 'Boogam'. and is complex in describing of maximum views on a single plane. As for the drawing style, there is found some changes i.e., the ranking-view, the single-view, the converge perspective at about the 19th century.
