Abstract The purpose of this study is to explain the space composition of two villages(Saechul and Sadurae) in the same area that have different characters. And the conclusions are as follows:1. The village composed with same families has more space factors than the village composed with different families.2. The sphere of village can be divided into three space and each space has a role that is related to the composition of village space. 3. On the methods of forming village, Saechul village is harmonized with the natural configuration of ground, but the Sadurae village is trying to overcome the demerit of the natural configuration of ground.4. There are two characteristic elements in each village that are distinguished from the other villages.5. On the space composition of object villages, the similar points are found. So, it can be thought that a village gave influence to the other village which is formed later.
