A Study on the Housing Form of Dureoug-Jip |
| Abstract |
Dureoug-Jip is generally Known Neowa-Jip. Though it is called Neowa-Jip, Gulpi-Jip, Jeorup-Jip, Dolnungae-Jip, etc. by roof materials, its original name is Dureoug-Jip.Dureoug-Jip is the traditional houses were distributed at the east region of mountain village in the middle of Mount. Tae Baek where is distributed the traditional Kyup-Jip Sabang-Jip in the Young Seo district and the-shaped house in the Young Dong district.It is formed by combining the bed space of traditional Kyup-Jip in the Young Seo district is fit for condition of living at mountain village with the space of stable(=magu), Jungji is fit for custom and mode of life in Young Dong district.Data collecting is resulted from the traditional houses without rebuilding or newly building is affected by the modern housing culture, its village is well preserved the original form.The objective of this study is to readjust the theory of housing form, distributing region and forming cause of Dureoug-Jip by collecting, arranging analyzing the private House of traditional village. |
