| Abstract |
With regard to spatial constitution of Hyangkyo & Seowon architecture by thinking system. Confucianism, in consequence of analyzing in focus on the theories of Taegukki, Suyang & Sim , came to a conclusion as follows.Spatial constitution of Hyangkyo architecture has been grown up and changed, lementary balanced relationship as a relative transposition, based on relative function of educate & ceremonial space, instead of monomial relations of which ritural & religious concepts fixed with the changes of the times.Spatial constitution of Seowon architecture has been kept a characteristics of schools & regions centering around Youngnam-Honam, under the influence of ideological argument aspect Iki-theory, and involve regularities of before & behind, right & left, up & down by means of a concept of Confucian Ye. In Youngnam area, ritual & religious function was taken an arrangement type of Iki-Iwon concept to be separated topographically and constructionally, and made a spatial constitution which emphasized a concept of residence - respectfulness in learning methodology. Meanwhile in Honam area, ritual & religious function was taken an arrangement type of Iki-Ilwon concept to be integrated spatially and symbolically, and made a spatial constitution which emphasized a concept of study on the laws of nature. |
