A Study on the Characteristics of Residential Mobility |
Abstract |
This study is to identify the characteristics of residential mobility followed by changes of family life cycles and the standard of living focused in the Mokpo City apartment dwellers. The study finding are as follows:1) The distinctional of residental mobility tends to be in the city bound direction as the stage of family life cycle and the standard of living are lower, as a whole the desired residential areas for future are the central city and city boundary and the desired type of housing is an apartment.2) The motives of both residential mobility and residential selection are in the convenience of daily life and economics ability of the individual family. In the future the mobility will depend on the environment of daily life and physical environment of neighborhood.3) In views of the degree of quality increase for the types of residential mobility, it shapes that the type of ownership constitutes 29.3%, the scale, 28.7%, and the floor level, 29.5%, and in general 29.5% of quality increase is found. |
