| Abstract |
This is a study on the houses that will be submerged by the construction of Sungju Dam. The purpose of this study is to record the folk houses that will be disappeared, and to make clear the regional characteristics of folk houses in this area.Results of this study are as follows :1. The type of site plan presents variously according to the location of several important factors. Types of site plan that are presented in this area are (-,=,ㄱ,ㄴ,ㄷ,ㅁ). And ㄱtype is general.2. Types of houses according to the number of front room unit are 3.(2,3,4 room unit) And 3 room and 4 room type enlarge the living space by installing the Toe-Gan(extra space of facade).3. In case of the 4 room type, the type that has Maru between rooms shows superior distribution than the type that is composed 3 rooms.In the 3 room and the 4 room type, the space of kitchen is mainly divided when the room space is divided horizontally.4. The characteristic of folk houses in this area is that the facilities such as Toe-Gan, kitchen room, Djiju(granary for the unprocessed cereal) are prevalent than other areas. |
