| Abstract |
This study aims to investigate the effects of various control methods and control parameters on the indoor thermal environment with ONDOL under continuous heating. Two identical ONDOL rooms were constructed to compare different control methods under the same condition.On summary, PI control outperforms on-off control by demonstrating improved performance in terms of comfort and stability of indoor thermal environment.Controlling the floor surface temperature could give more comfortable circumstance than controlling the indoor temperature when only one parameter is chosen. Finally ONDOL would demonstrate improved thermal performance if two parameters of indoor temperature and floor surface temperature are chosen simulatneously for control parameters. |
