A study on plan of Fee charging residential facility for The elderly |
| Abstract |
Being rapidly increased in population of the Elderly supporting of the Elderly is no longer family s and personal problem. It is social issue that demand measured by the goverment. Though many kinds of welfare policies for the Elderly have been established, it is not sufficient both in quality and quantity. It is by the reason of social background like this, that many firma have a interest of new market targeted at the Elderly, what we called, silver industry.Especially since the amendment of Welfare Law by the National Assembly in December 1993, installation and management of various housing facilities for the Elderly by individual or private enterprises in Korea was made possible.This study is targeted on possible residents who could be clients in the furure. Frist purpose of this study is to analyse intention of entry and demand of request on the facilites And with this, We will work out a unique model plan and developmental strategies. In second purpose, it is to acheive basic information about market and publicity of retirement housing facilities as promising and lucrative business.The characteristics of this survey are; 1)Preferenc of a relatively small-scale housing, 2)Impotance of location being near seoul city, 3) Preference for apartment living-style, 4) Impotance of medical facilities yet grater demand for convenient public facilities, supermarket and public bath for daily living. |
