| Abstract |
This study is aimed to investgate the villas of Adolf Loos in relation with the mechanical reproduction of images such as photograph. Through the analysis of his wrightings and architecture, this study further inquires into the problems caused by the mechanical reproduction and its function as a mask on the architecture. After revealing that his silent facade and Raumplan, a way of space rendering, was adopted to criticize the mechanical reproduction by photograph, it shows how Adolf Loos coped with the chaniging visions from outside to the architecture. |
