Evaluation and Reduction Method of Traffic Noise for Housing near Highway |
| Abstract |
Traffic noise has become a subject of significant public interest in recent years. Especially near a highway, it is necessary to evaluate noise levels and the effectiveness of reducing highway traffic noise throughout field survey. In this study, both noise levels and sound insulation perfomance of the house facades on a site of selected D-villa house were evaluated. Finally, the proper noise control guidelines such as the height of the barrier and the structures of the windows were suggested. |
