The Establishment of the Database for the Efficient Quality Management of the Construction Projects |
| Abstract |
In order to accomplish the construction quality, a systematic quality management is required during the construction process. The construction quality management is based on the quality information, such as quality items, quality limits or standards, defect types, etc. This research focuses on the establishment of the databases which efficiently organize the quality information. The main databases consist of the quality databases and the defect databases. Both databases are related to each other and are used to perform the quality management at any level of the construction process. These databases may be integrated into a Quality Management System(QMS) for the construction projects. Now, a computerized QMS is being developed with theses databases. |
