A Comparative study on the Modernization Process of Planning between Korea and Japan |
Abstract |
The aim of this paper is to compare and make clear to the Modernity of housing between Korea and Japan since 1945. The result is followed; that of Japan was gone through the process of and accomplished to the western modern planning. That of Korea was the process of and inclined to the central living room planning. Generally, both was similar trend in the closeness of planning, the specialization of spatial division and the recurrence of traditional spaces, but different to the double space(GYUP-ZIP)planning, design of circulation space and bathroom. Finally both is different to the change and continuation of traditional housing culture becouse of the acception of western housing culture. |
