Architectural Activities of Kwangju Area by the Statistical Analysis on the Design Registers` Books since 1968 |
| Abstract |
This study aims at finding a present state of the architecture in Kwangju and prospecting an image of the future through the statistical analysis of design resisters' books. It is processed by the microscopic approach and the quantitative analsis. Design Resisters' books were very important as a data of analysis, because they manage actual matters on the architectural deeds of Kwangju. They produce following things as results of the frequency analysis and the correlation analysis ;1) the variation of architectural demand for a social change, 2) the tendency of design, 3) the growth of Kwangju with the urban context, etc. These reflect on the reality of architecture in Kwangju. |
