| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to grasp the characteristics by color image type in interior. The independent variables are colors of ceilings, walls and floors in living rooms. This experiment is carried out by the evaluation method of color simulation with the color image processor.The major findings are as follows;1) As a result of factor analysis, the types of color image can be summarized and explained into five demensions: "Casual", "Romantic Elegant", "Modern", "Classic", "Dynamic".2) In the dimension of Casual, the most main color is the hue of GY and then there are many hues of PB, Y and N. The most arrangement of colors is hue-contrast.3) In the dimension of Romantic Elegant, Pastel tone hue of GY or RP is prevailing in colors. The most arrangement of colors is identical harmony.4) In the dimension of Modern, The main colors are the hues of B, PB, high value and low chroma with bright tone. Also, the main colors are in identical or similar harmony with the hues of floor: BG, B, PB and P.5) In the dimension of Classic, The main color is the warm color of Y, YR, The most arrangement of colors is identical or similar harmony. In the dimension of Dynamic, The main color is the hue of GY and most of color is high chroma. The most arrangement of colors is value-contrast. |
