| Abstract |
Recognition of visual patterns in CAAD systems (Computer Aided Architectural Design) provides significant assistance to human designers for supporting their designing at the early stage of design. This paper presents representation of visual patterns and processes model for visual pattern discovery. In particular, visual symmetry, visual rhythm and visual movement are introduced from architectural plans and facades. In addition to that, their use in architectural designing is demonstrated. |
