Abstract |
The energy conservation in building sectors affects environmental preservation as well as economic benefits, and creates the comfortable indoor environment set for the inhabitants. Especially, commercial buildings show ever-increasing energy consumption with large-sized and high-class tendency, thus energy saving counterplans are needed.The objective of this study is to develop a model for estimating load profile in a building. Computer simulation has been conducted using DOE-2.1C building energy analysis program and the thermal load estimating model is developed to predict cooling and heating load of various buildings based on the computer simulation. Since the design elements of the building envelope interact with one another, the model with multiple regression analysis is developed through the process of data analysis and determination related factors for calulation method of thermal load. The results of this study provide the design tools for a more energy-efficient building. |
