Coupling of CAD and Structural Analysis through an Integration Platform |
| Abstract |
An integration design method of steel construction is introduced in this paper. Communications between different application systems in the design process were successful through the proposed integration platform, which consists of EDB(Engineering Data Bank) based on a relational model and NDI(Neutral Data Interface) based on a product model. On the base of the integration platform, a structural system modeling program module from CAD-description of a steel construction is presented. |
