| Abstract |
This study examines and analyzes the residential Factors and environment of the area around the street of Arts in Kwangju whose the residential and commercial activities coexist,and results are as follows.1.In the distribution of buildings, the neighbor living facilities are most frequently found, followed by housing, neighbor living facilities+housing. By the use of buildings,the structure has been changed into neighbor facilities+housing from housing and it is now changed into neighbor living facilities.2.The reconstruction of buildings has been conducted spontaneously and gradually, and by blocks of buildings, it has been changed into the 1st block from the 3rd block which is the nearest to downtown (Kumnamro), and by locations of building, it has been changed into the inside of block from the neighborhood of the road between blocks.3.It has been suggested that the residential factors are mostly for the commercial activities related to the neighboring life rather than the residence itself, and especially, it is shown that the physical environmental structures such as building structure, construction year, and building scale, the number of residential households per building,residential form and contents have been the facotrs that make the residential envirnment poor. |
