A Study on the Stock Space for Contaminated Materials in Wards of Hospital with regard to their Production and Stock |
| Abstract |
Medical staffs and nurses use several kinds of medical materials and sets to treat patients. Patients use linnen to wear and eat their meals to sustain their life on wards. And so, several of contaminated materials and waste are produced daily on wards.This study aimed at requirements of the stock space for contaminated materials. The methodology of this study is to evaluate stock spaces with regard to contaminated materials.The results are follows1) The contaminated materials are produced mainly at patients' bed rooms, treatment rooms and preparation rooms.2) Some isolated spaces are required according to some group of contaminated materials. |
