A Scheduling Method of Reinforced Concrete Construction in Apartment Housing Projects Focused on Formwork Crews |
| Abstract |
The scheduling of reinforced concrete construction in apartment buildings has been performed through the heuristic process based on the previous experience and the consulation with subcontractors. Such heuristic or non-scientific approaches may result in significant construction defects as well as resource wastes. Although there were some studies to establish a standard schedule network for the apartment housing projects, they did not consider various factors which affect cycle-time, duration, crew size, resource utilization efficiency, etc.The purpose of this research is to develop a scheduling method through the investigation of constraints for construction quality and the work process analysis focused formwork crew. The proposed scheduling model can maximize the resource utilization efficiency by keeping the minimum elapsed time for forms and shores within the designated construction duration. |
