A Study on the Characteristics of Concrete using Pulverized Granulated Blast-Furnace Slag |
| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to suggest a basic data for the production of high value-added Blast-Furnace Slag Cement. This study analyze characteristics of both fresh concrete and hardened concrete. Ordinary Portland Cement was substituted by Blast-Furnace Slag with 5 kinds of ratio(no admixture, 15, 30, 40, 50%) and 2 kinds of gypsum(chemical gypsum, natural gypsum). As a result, compared with Ordinary Portland Cement, unit water content showed a tendency of reduction. And also from the result of the test, we obtained the excellent result when natural gypsum was used. That is a good developement of compressive strength and reduction of unit water content. |
