Title |
The development and Field Evaluation of an Impact Noise Barrier System for vertically Adjacent Household Units in Apartment Housings |
Abstract |
With the gradual increase of users' various needs for comfortable residential environments in an korean ON-DOL heating system, the Impact Noise from the upper floor specially such as children's pl and sound of piano etc. has not only restricted residents from free life activities, but caused accoustic problems such as children's timid life activities and troubles between residents. In this study, with the subjects of 6 adjacent household units(6 types, 30py), Floor Impact Sound Level were mearsured and Sound Insulation Grades estimated. Also(b)-(d)types of [Photo 2] keep both adiabatic and sound insulation effects. This study developed the Impact Noise Barrier System for vertically adjacent household units to improve the standard grade 2-3 which established by the Architectural Institute of Japan. The heavy-weight Impact Noise in this system was measured by L-50 or less and light-weight Impact Noise is by L-60 or less repectively. |
