Title A Study on Behavior Properties of Concrete Filled Steel Tube Column Under Eccentric Load

Abstract This paper investigated to the properties of structural behaviors of concrete filled steel tube column through a series of experiments using the key parameters, such as diameter-to-thickness(D/t) ratio, eccentric ratio of steel tube under eccentric loading. The obtained results are summarised as follows. 1.The ratio of plastic deformation of eccentrically loaded concrete filled steel tube column to the centric axial loading was decreased as the increase of D/t ratio and eccentric ratio. Also the emprical formual to predict the deformation capability of concrete filled steel tube column considered D/t ratio were proposed. 2.The emprical formula to predict the ultimate capacity of concrete filled steel tube column considering D/t ratio, eccentric ratio of steel tube is proposed.
