| Abstract |
Besides energy-used in other building construction, the energy used in the construction of residential buildings seems to be important in evaluation the impact of construction activities on the global environment. This paper presents the results of a case study that measured energy use and CO2 emission during the construction of apartment building. On the basis of earlier studies, a table was drawn up, listing energy-use and CO2 emission in producing a unit quantity of building materials and components. |
