A Study on Development of Analytical Method for Behavior of Concrete Filled Steel Tube Members |
Abstract |
To analyze mechanical behavior of concrete filled steel tube, it is needed to investigate elasto-plastic behavior of steel and concrete. Therefore, in this study, we idealized material models(steel and concrete) to take into account elasto-plastic, limit state, and developed structural analysis program that consider complex nonlinearity. We investigated elasto-plastic behavior of columns under centric and eccentric loading, so we confirmed the propriety of this analysis method. The obtained results are summarised as follows:(1) It was proposed to structural analysis method which considers complex non-linearity and layer model by C language, and the result analysis by this structural analysis program, we can predict a maximum load of concrete filled steel tube column.(2) We know this structural analysis results correspond with existing test results according to a series of example, but this program have a problem in the track of strain course on account of perfect fracture of concrete section after maximum load. |
