Abstract Recently, research and development related to high strength concrete for the high rise and large scale reinforced concrete buildings has been actively promoted in worldwide by national and private research project.Base on this background, this study is experimentally to investigate and analyze the influence of experimental factors and levels such as low water binder ratio (0.25, 0.30, 0.35), binder content on the workability and engineering properties of high strength concrete containing fly-ash in the side of economical development and practical use of high strength concrete.This paper reviews that although binding material content in the manufacturing of high strength concrete is very important factor and element, increasing boundlessly the binding material content in rich mix concrete may not follow more good engineering properties, and concrete of less binding material content reveals higher engineering properites such as compressive strength than concrete of more binding material content.
