Title Estimation Method for Construction Duration in the Frame Work of Reinforced Concrete Wall-Slab Type Apartments

Abstract The Purpose of this research is to present the improved estimating method for construction duration.The major results of this study are summarized as follows:First, through the questionaires survey and the expert interview, it is find that various factors influence the construction duration of reinforced concrete wall-slab type apartments. The major reliable factors which influence the construction duration of frame work are the transition cycle of temporary material and transition cycle of the working crew. The transition cycle of temporary material is influenced by the applied form type, required quantity of temporary material, and form-removal period. The transition cycle of the working crew is influenced by the number of the buildings, the number of the floors, the amount of the work per floor, the working days per floor, and the productivity of the working crew.Second, compared with the previous cstimating method for construction duration of reinforced concrete wall-slab type apartments, this study presents the optimal calculation method for construction duration if one block is composed of 2, 3, and 4 buildings respectively. This research also presents the procedural model of the cstimating method for construction duration of reinforced concrete wall-slab type apartments.
