| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to investigate to find out the actual status of facility and residents' satisfaction, and to give some possible suggestions for improvement. The data were collected from managers of eleven facilities and ninety elderly residents of five non-profit nursing homes. As for the actual of non-profit nursing homes, the size of most facilities were relatively small and centralized form. Most facilities emphasized on regular daily activity services rather then medical aspects. The satisfaction for the facilities were closely related to the number of room-mat and the location of facilities. And the residents in the facilities consider the quality of services as more important factors than the quantity of services. |
