Abstract House are the material expressing of a matrix of sociocultural influences. It is possible to explain the design, the meaning and the use of domestic space by comparing different cultures. This study aims to explore the cultural core elements in our housing. So, a cultural comparative study was designed in order to test the acculturation process of the Korean immigrant family's domestic habits (migrant culture) in Australia(host culture). The field experiment in Sydney, Australia has been carried out with 83 Korean immigrant families. Most of the analyses to find out the successing and transformation of domestic habits were made in the context of uses of domestic space.
