| Abstract |
This study aimed to extract the ones considered center and boundary element among the characteristics of neighborhood places. To achieve this prupose, it has extracted the center and boundary element in the neighborhood place as using survey data in housing estates. In its analysis, the characteristics of the center and boundary on the one hand, the relationship between the perception of place on the other are examined.The findings of this study could be summarized that the center which is closely connected with inhabitants' behavior & activity in their daily life, that is easily imageable place as aspect of visual, symbolic and massive to them. And the boundary could be summarized the element that operate wiht the boundary as inhabitants' behavior & consciousness, grouping of dwelling and unit of neighborhood organization. |
