Abstract This paper is a study on structural behavior of Concrete-Filled Circular Tubular(C.F.C.T.) column to H-beam connections. The important parameters are the concrete-filled or not concrete-filled and the inner stiffener types(longitudinal ribs and stud-bolts) and variable colum thickness(5.8mm, 9.2mm, 15.0mm) around thd joint between CFCT and H-beam. Test results are summarized for the displacement, strength, initial stiffness, failure mode of each specimen. The purpose of this poper is to investigate the stiffness and the strength of connections to evaluate thestructural behavior of the CFCT colum to H-beam connections and compare test results with Japan's Code. Consequantly, the basic data for non-diaphragm connection are suggested.
