Effect of Traffic Noise in Apartment Estate by Site Type |
| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to suggest reference data for design and site planning of traffic noise reduction in apartment estate. To carry out the aim of this study, three model(parallel block, right angle block, composite block) was selected apartment estate near road in Pusan. Traffic noise level and reduction level of traffic noise were measured Leq and Lx and Lx noise level by a constant horizontal distance(start point, 10m, 30m, 50m) with 1/3 Octave Band Real Time Analyser(SA-27), analysed L10 noise reduction level by a predicted and a measured value on diffration and reflection effect, and weather condition and environment around block were investigated within 2 apartment estates in Pusan.As a result, noise reduction level of parallel block, composite block was better than right angle block 5.6dB(A), 2.4dB(A) respectively. |
